"My wife and I have owned a caravan at Longlands for over 17 years, and although we have seen many changes, the park feels just the same as it did all those years ago. The park is well maintained and cared for by the staff and we look forward to every visit."

As a Longlands resident you and your family can enjoy free access to one of Britain’s best loved stately homes; the magnificent Holker Hall & Gardens owned by Lord & Lady Cavendish. Just a 25 minute drive away, browse this impressive historic hall and its 25 acres of award winning woodland and formal gardens. Or stop off at the Holker restaurant and Food Hall to pick up a few delicious essentials. Holker Hall also hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
Cartmel Racecourse

Lakes Laser Tag
A game consists of two teams of players who aim to complete the games mission. Players are “tagged” when “shot” by a beam of light. These beams are shot from high tech, easy to use guns that are held by each player. Sensors on each player pick up the beam of light that is shot from the other team and if these are hit the player loses “life force”.

Brockhole Windermere
Join us on the shore of Lake Windermere, our very own piece of Lake District paradise. Located between Windermere and Ambleside, Brockhole on Windermere is the perfect place for all the family. With a variety of outdoor (but covered) activities, an adventure playground, water sports, and boat hire, our grounds will entertain for days! For a more relaxed day out, explore our Thomas Mawson designed gardens with views over the lake towards the Langdales and surrounding fells. Coniston Water
Enjoy the beautiful views across this five mile long, and half a mile wide picturesque lake. Head to the Coniston Boating Centre to hire rowing boats, canoes, sailing boats and bikes, and enjoy life out on the water.
The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway
At Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway travel back in time when you climb aboard our train. A distant memory of bygone years for some and new experience for others, it’s a unique day out for all. Jump aboard our train at Haverthwaite Station. Enjoy views from your carriage up to Lakeside; the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Then if you fancy, continue your journey aboard a Windermere Steamer to Bowness or Ambleside…. or do the journey in reverse! The station welcomes dogs and they can even ride the train for FREE!
